My internship placement “required” me to make a LinkedIn and I finally caved in. After putting it off for so long, I finally have my own profile.

I’d also be lying if I hadn’t looked forward to it either. I lost Instagram but at least I got LinkedIn.

I don’t know if you were just trying to be polite or not, but thank you for messaging me first. I’m still trying to figure out the ground we’re both in so I don’t want to overstep anything and continue on the conversation towards anything more than just a small talk.

I’m not sure if any of our future conversations will even go to the how-are-you’s, but I’m looking forward to it without hoping that I’ll get it. Hopefully by keeping things open ended, I don’t get lost in the illusion.

And trust me, I haven’t stopped striving for my dreams.

P.S. Thanks for the music. I haven’t stopped listening to it ever since. I guess I know where I’ll be if there is a next time.
